Choir Song: Sunrise, Sunset
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
I don't remember growing older
When did they?
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he get to be so tall?
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day
They look so natural together
Just like two newlyweds should be
Is there a canopy in store for me?
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears

Choir Song: I Cannot Come
Remember this one?
I cannot come. I cannot come to the banquet,
don't trouble me now.
I have married a wife; I have bought me a cow.
I have fields and commitments that cost a pretty sum.
Pray, hold me excused, I cannot come.

House Charts
Remember the house charts we used to put up in the assemply hall? Here are some pictures of them
Martins and Thomas (the other two house charts, christophers and ? were hidden behind stocked chairs)
Patricks and Peters
Michaels and Francis
Since I was in Francis, I am being a bit biased in taking the snaps ;-). Here are some closeups of the chart.

Updates
I went to school this term end (April 3rd) and was fortunate to meet some teachers there. Here are the updates I got
It was great talking to them. I even apologized to Mrs Joshi that she had to correct my papers ;-).
More photographs to come up!
- Number of divisions have increased to 4!. This years 10th batch is the first one to have 4 divisions. A, B, C and E. The D div is reserved for the boys :-).
- Mrs Matthews has retired. She had cancer and suffers from severe arthritis so she thought it best to retire. But she remains on the board of trustees. Ms. Simois takes over as the principal. Mrs. Betty Matthews takes over as the Boys school Principal.
- Fete. Our lovely fete has been cancelled and there are no plans to have it again. Actually, there are plans, but to never have it again. Mrs Matthews did not want to have the girls to get associated with the type of crowd that was coming in. Gate crashers et. al. ( BTW I wonder if anyone has pictures of the fete!)
- I had a lovely conversation with Mrs. Betty Matthews. We were talking about how many girls don't know how to handle a co-ed enviornment after getting out of school. She informed me of the fact that now some of they girls and boys are allowed to go together for inter college debates .
- Bhosale Sir has left. Nair Sir is retiring in a year. Sanjeev sir is still around!
